Pigment Workroom è stata selezionata da Fabriano per realizzare una delle attività del Festival del Disegno 2020, e abbiamo scelto di condividerla con i bimbi della Lapis, la scuola per i più piccoli all’interno dell’Accademia del Cinema di Enziteto.
L’idea è stata quella di far provare a tutti la magia della stampa serigrafica, usando la grafica di un vaso vuoto.
I bambini, ormai preparati alle normative sanitarie, hanno creato una vera catena di montaggio: chi reggeva il telaio, chi metteva il foglio vergine e chi stampava. A turno si asciugava la serigrafia e si procedeva alla parte di decorazione.
Ogni bambino, infatti, ha aggiunto il proprio tocco al vaso, aggiungendo in forma di collage o di disegno a mano piante, fiori e decorazioni di ogni tipo.
Il risultato è stata la scoperta di un metodo di stampa tradizionale, unito all’immaginazione incontrollabile dei piccoli artisti.

Pigment Workroom was selected by Fabriano to carry out one of the activities of the Festival del Disegno 2020, and
we have chosen to share it with the children of Lapis, the school for the little ones within the Cinema Academy of Enziteto.
The idea was to let everyone experience the magic of screen printing, using the graphics of an empty vase.
The children, by now prepared for Covid-19 regulations, created a real assembly line: those who held the frame, those who put the blank sheet and those who printed. In turn, the silkscreen printing was dried and the decoration part was carried out.
Each child, in fact, added his or her own touch to the vase, adding in the form of collage or hand drawing plants, flowers and decorations of all kinds.
The result was the discovery of a traditional printing method, combined with the uncontrollable imagination of our small artists.
