Pigment Workroom aims to introduce the citizens to those urban visual cultures that emerged globally, starting from the Seventies, practiced (legally and illegally) in public spaces. In order to do this, we believe that the education and practice of these disciplines are essential to strengthen the dialogue between writers, artists, citizens and institutions. Our first interlocutors are boys/girls under 16 and schools, but we truly enjoyed ourselves by explaining graffiti-writing in some meetings with senior citizens.
We have a constant program of introduction to graffiti-writing classes, urban art, and all printing techniques available in our studio: screen printing, Risograph printing, bookbinding, self-publishing and street photography.

Pigment Workroom ha l’obiettivo di avvicinare i cittadini a tutte le culture visive urbane emerse dagli anni 70 a livello globale, e che si impongono quotidianamente negli spazi pubblici in forma legale o illegale. Per farlo, crediamo che l’educazione e la pratica di queste discipline siano essenziali per rafforzare il dialogo fra writers, artisti, cittadini e istituzioni. I nostri primi interlocutori sono i ragazzi under-16 e le scuole, ma ci siamo molto divertiti nello spiegare i graffiti in alcuni incontri con anziani e pensionati.
Abbiamo un programma costante di corsi di introduzione al graffiti-writing, all’arte urbana, e di tutte le tecniche di stampa di cui disponiamo in studio: serigrafia, Risograph print, legatoria, microeditoria e street photography.
